Lisette Watson
We announce the retirement of our Partner, Lisette Watson on 5th September 2025.
Lisette graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast with a degree in law in 2004 before attending the Institute of Professional Legal Studies.
After training in a large city centre firm, Lisette joined Crawford & Lockhart in 2006 and became Partner in 2013. Following the merger of Crawford & Lockhart and C & J Black solicitors in 2021, Lisette continued as Partner in the newly branded Crawford Lockhart Black.
Over the years, Lisette has advised countless clients with dedication and professionalism and as Partner, has been instrumental in the growth and development of our firm. We will miss Lisette’s presence in the office and on behalf of all at Crawford Lockhart Black, we thank Lisette for her remarkable contribution and wish her every happiness in her next chapter.

Roger Watts
Roger Watts retired from practice as of 31st October 2024.
​
Roger started working in C&J Black upon his qualification in 1979 and was admitted as a partner in 1983. He practiced throughout in the firm (including the merged firm) for 45 years, during which time he was Chair of the Belfast Solicitors’ Association (1989 – 1990) and part-time Chair of Industrial Tribunals (1994 – 1997).
Roger's discernment, experience, good humour, tenacity and kindness will be very much missed.
We wish him a long and a very happy retirement.

Law Society NI Charity Walk

Crawford Lockhart Black Solicitors joined the Law Society NI charity of the year walk in aid of
Leukaemia and Lymphoma NI, around Belfast's Titanic Quarter,
to raise funds and awareness for the great work done by this local charity in the field of blood cancer research
